Deputies and paramedics performed CPR on the man before he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said they believe the man was using a hose to drain his pool down a hill and into a 30-foot-wide canal, when he slipped down the hill, falling into the water and drowning.
