Teens face felony charges in December robbery

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Three teens were arrested in a December armed robbery at a gas station near Ormond Beach, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

The armed robbery happened on Dec. 19 at a Chevron located at 1716 Ocean Shore Blvd. around 9:47 p.m., deputies said.

Tyler Evans and Bradley Fahey, both 19, and Even Stidham, 18, were taken into custody, sheriff’s officials said.

Deputies said one of the teens demanded money while pointing a handgun at the gas station clerk.

Detectives said they were able to use surveillance video, license plate readers, and other evidence to identify the three suspects and learned the three planned the robbery together.

All three suspects are being held on charges of principal to robbery with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a delinquent.

Stidham also faces an additional charge of providing false information to law enforcement during a felony investigation, deputies said.

The three men are being held at the Volusia County Jail.
