NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – A person was arrested after a shooting “between rival motorcycle gangs” that injured two on Saturday, according to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened in the 3000 block of State Road 44, the New Smyrna Beach Police Department said around 1 p.m.
A witness at the scene recorded video moments before the shots rang out. The video shows a large group get into a fight which at one point knocks over a motorcycle before what sounds like gunfire starts. After one shot, the witness runs inside of a RaceTrac gas station when several other shots can be heard.
“They is shooting. That is real,” the person recording the video can be heard saying.

Any and all injuries from the shooting appear to be non-life-threatening at the time of this report, according to police.
New Smyrna Beach police did not release the name of the person arrested and said the investigation is ongoing.
