ORLANDO, Fla. – An arrest was made in a shooting outside EPIC Theaters in Orlando.
Eros Arturo Medrano Romero was one of three people arrested in the shooting that happened on Oct. 20.
Romero is accused of opening fire on two men sitting outside the theater, located at the 6800 Eagle Watch Drive, hitting one in the back and leg.
The suspects took off and later crashed after a pursuit near Lee Road and Wymore Road, investigators said.
According to an arrest affidavit, the shooting was over a disputed firearms sale. Romero told officers he fired by mistake and took off, the affidavit said.
Romero faces charges of attempted felony murder, conspiracy, gun charges and witness tampering.
He is being held on no bond.
