LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on a teen who’s been missing since late Friday night.
The Sheriff’s Office says they traced a call the juvenile made to a neighbor’s phone before a witness reported seeing her climb into in an SUV.

The Sheriff’s Office says they believe Payton Halloway is “actively avoiding being found,” and may be in the company of her boyfriend.
Deputies say they’ve been working to locate both of them all day.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced Saturday it’s looking for help finding 16-year-old Payton Halloway.
Deputies say the teen went missing around 11 p.m. Friday from Altoona and left on foot.
Deputies told News 6 earlier Saturday Halloway has had some recent health issues, so they believe she may be endangered.
Deputies say she may be wearing a black shirt and pink pants, has brunette hair, and is 5 feet 11 inches tall.
