A Halloween cold front is on the way š
ORLANDO, Fla. ā Hi there Insiders, meteorologist Michelle Morgan here with some great news.
Itās true ā the past few ācold frontsā havenāt exactly lived up to their name. But this time, itās a different story. A strong front is on the move and will arrive just in time for Halloween, finally bringing that long-awaited taste of fall to kick off the spooky season.
Come Friday morning, expect a noticeable chill in the air: 40s for northern spots like Marion and Flagler counties, and 50s elsewhere across Central Florida.

A bad setup likely coming together in the Caribbean Sea š
Welcome back to your Insiders Newsletter everyone, this is meteorologist David Nazario with a look at Melissa, and the potential disaster scenario we may have unfolding over the next seven days.
Tropical Storm Melissa has nearly stalled south of Haiti and southeast of Jamaica. Recon crews are consistently pulling data and observations from the core of the storm, as well as the surrounding environment. As this info gets plugged into our models, things arenāt looking any better.
While we dodge a bullet here in Florida more than likely, our neighbors to our immediate south from Hispaniola, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Cuba, the Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamas, may be looking at a catastrophic storm headed their way. HERE you can find all my thoughts as to why Melissa could be one of the strongest systems of this hurricane season.
