Stetson baseball feeling the ‘Love’

DELAND, Fla. – Steve Trimper and Greg Lovelady go back a long way.

Trimper, the current head baseball coach at Stetson, remembers watching Lovelady win a pair of national championships as a player at the University of Miami in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Now, two and half decades later, the two baseball lifers will work together in DeLand. Trimper announced Thursday afternoon that he’s adding Lovelady to the Stetson coaching staff.

Lovelady, the head coach at UCF from 2017-2023, will serve as recruiting coordinator and assistant coach.
