65-year-old motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash in Flagler

Fatal wreck reported on Old Kings Road near Fairchild Oaks Boulevard

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 65-year-old motorcyclist was killed Thursday evening in a crash in Flagler County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal crash was reported at 6:55 p.m. on Old Kings Road near Fairchild Oaks Boulevard, southwest of Flagler Beach.

The FHP said the motorcyclist was northbound on Old Kings Road and a car traveling south made a left turn onto Fairchild Oaks Boulevard. The motorcycle and vehicle crashed head-on, according to a crash report.

The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, died in the crash, according to troopers.

The driver of the SUV, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, an FHP report stated.
