ORLANDO, Fla. – More rain is in the forecast for Central Florida on Monday.
A day after more than 19 inches of rain fell in parts of the region, another 2-4 inches is possible.
FLASH FLOOD WARNING
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for:
- Southern Lake County
- Southwestern Orange County, including the Disney area
...until 7:30 p.m.
Between 2.5 inches and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen in the affected areas, and an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain are possible.
Flood warnings have also been issued for Lake, Seminole and Volusia counties until 11:45 p.m.
On Sunday, Brevard and Lake counties were hit the hardest, with Eustis recording over 19 inches of rain and Titusville getting more than 15 inches.
Flooding has plagued both areas, with flooded homes and streets, washouts and road closures.
Monday will be soggy, gloomy and windy, but conditions dramatically improve in the coming days as a big cold front will chill temperatures into the 40s and 50s early Friday.
