Cold front brings near-record lows across Central Florida – Central Florida, get ready — we’ve got another cold night on the way. A cold front slid through on Thursday and is giving us an extra push of chilly air for Friday morning. It’s a dry front (so no rain to worry about), but you’ll definitely feel that cooler air when you step outside.
Many locations are expected to start off in the 30s and 40s Friday morning.
But don’t worry — this is Florida after all. The cold won’t stick around for long. By the afternoon, temperatures bounce back nicely into the 70s with lots of sunshine.
And the warm-up continues into the weekend with highs in the mid-70s.
