Storms, colder air arrive for spring break in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Beach weather is going on vacation for a minute. The 90s from earlier in the week will turn to the 60s by early next week.

In between comes and increased shot for showers and storms.

By Saturday afternoon, expect a few storms to fire up with the heating of the day. The best shot for storms will be west of Orlando.

Highs top out in the low 80s.

Storms become more widespread Sunday.

Sunday should start out mainly dry, but expect storms to develop late in the afternoon and evening.

A few stary downpours will be possible in the afternoon, but most will be dry.

Sunday at 5 p.m.

The widespread storm action develops closer to dinner and lingers through the evening.

Expect an earlier start time to the storms Monday as a big cold front approaches.

Behind the front Tuesday, morning temperatures will be in the 40s. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50s.
