ORLANDO, Fla. – A lingering trough of low pressure over the Southeast in the mid-upper levels of the atmosphere will continue to add lift and instability to help charge up our sea breeze for the next few days.
Thursday
Thursday will play out very similarly to Wednesday as all the same active players remain in the arena. Our morning commute will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds for the first part of our day. The west and east coast sea breeze will begin developing around lunchtime, with spotty storms popping up along I-75 and 95. More storm coverage will continue to fan out towards interior Central Florida as both breezes push towards I-4 mid-afternoon. Both breezes collide near I-4 for the second half of the afternoon, leaving for a wet and messy evening commute home. Storms will start to fade around 9pm. High temperatures will climb into the low 90s with “feels like” temperatures maxing out around 100°F.
Friday
With our weather pattern locked in as this trough stubbornly sticks around, our rain pattern will be a rinse and repeat of Thursday. Unsettled conditions will persist into the weekend as well, leaving for a wet afternoon. Any outdoor plans or errands will be easier to tackle during the morning.
