ORLANDO, Fla. – Slightly drier air will be moving into Central Florida from the Atlantic, allowing for rain chances to lower for your Memorial Day. An isolated shower or T-Storm cannot be ruled out, however, coverage will be lower than Sunday as rain chances fall to about 30%.
Expect a few morning coastal showers before the sea breeze quickly pushes that shower chance towards I-75 in the afternoon. Highs will be on the steamy side, reaching the low 90s with “feels like” temperatures hovering around 100ºF.
Rain chances begin to balloon by mid-week as we await the onset of tropical moisture from the Caribbean. This moisture will really make its presence known starting on Thursday and last through the weekend. This will translate to increased storm coverage for the second half of the week and into the weekend. High temperatures will continue to hover around 90 degrees before the showers and storms cool off our neighborhoods.
