ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is in the midst of what will likely be the hottest stretch of weather all summer.
Temperatures turn even hotter Saturday under mostly sunny skies with afternoon high temperatures surging into the upper 90s.
The heat index will be in the 105-110 ballpark during the hottest portion of the day.
Storm chances drop significantly Saturday, only a 20% chance late in the afternoon and early evening.
Sunday will be a repeat performance with highs again in the upper 90s.
The upper 90s stick around through at least the middle of next week.
