Don’t let them go: ‘Wicked,’ ‘Disney’s Frozen Jr.’ tickets on sale at Dr. Phillips Center

Both productions will be part of theater’s 2022-23 season

ORLANDO, Fla. – Talk about “Popular” productions. “For the First Time in Forever,” tickets for smash hit musicals “Wicked” and “Disney’s Frozen Jr.” are on sale at the Dr. Phillips Center.

The musicals are hitting the Orlando stage for the theater’s 2022-23 season. “Wicked” will run from Jan. 25-Feb. 12, 2023 while “Disney’s Frozen Jr.,” a youth theater production, will run from Jan. 13-15, 2023.

“Wicked” audiences can find out “For Good” what happened before Dorothy dropped in and how a misunderstood green-skinned Elphaba came to defy more than expectations in her friendship with Glinda the Good Witch.

Fans of “Frozen” will enjoy this youth production based on the 2018 Broadway musical, which features five new songs written specifically for the stage. The contemporary classic explores true love and acceptance between two sisters and princesses of Arendelle, Anna and Elsa, as they journey through the dangers of the land.

The Saturday matinee show of the “Frozen” production will be sensory friendly with slightly altered sound and light cues.
