Festival hits Ocala on June 7-8

OCALA, Fla. – His name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid Rock, and he’s coming to the two-day “Rock The Country” music festival making its only Florida stop.

The concert, featuring headliners Kid Rock and Jason Aldean, goes down June 7-8 at Majestic Oaks Ocala, according to the event’s website.

Other artists include Travis Tritt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Trippp and Brantley Gilbert.

The festival promises to bring “country music back to its roots—the small towns that make up the backbone of America.”

If you’re planning on attending, the following items are not allowed:

  • Guns, knives, or weapons of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Tents or umbrellas
  • Animals
  • Illegal substances
  • Laser pointers
  • Chains/chain wallets
  • Fireworks
  • Flags
  • Professional cameras, video cameras, or audio recording device

The following items are permitted:

  • Sunscreen
  • Hats
  • Phones and chargers
  • Empty water containers for use at the water stations
  • Towels
  • Non-professional cameras
  • Small to medium bags
  • Medicine (in approved containers)
  • Blankets or lawn chairs for use in the Chair Zones
