FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Do you want to get away from the U.S. for a few years? If so, then there’s good news.
Last week, Villa Vie Residences, a cruise line company in Florida, announced the launch of its “Tour La Vie” cruise program, which is set to take guests on a continuous cruise for up to four years.

In a release, company officials said that the program will start at just under $40,000 per year, with guests having the flexibility to join at any port during the “global adventure.”
“With over 425 ports across 140 countries, each circumnavigation presents an unprecedented opportunity to discover the world from their floating home with ever-changing backyards,” the release reads.
The four exclusive offers are as follows:
- 1-year “Escape from Reality”
- 2-year “Mid-Term Selection”
- 3-year “Everywhere but Home”
- 4-year “Skip Forward”
The cruise ship — dubbed the “Villa Vie Odyssey” — houses up to 600 people, and it just entered the second month of its 15-year-long global tour.
The release says that the ship is set to visit all seven continents, 13 “World Wonders,” and over 100 tropical islands during its journey.
Amid the cruise, the Odyssey will reportedly spend two-to-five days in port at each stop.
“Villa Vie offers a unique one-of-a-kind way (to) see the whole world at a slow pace where you have enough time to actually experience the cultural vibe of every port,” said Anne Alms, head of sales for Villa Vie Residences. “Your villa is your bedroom, and the ship is your home, she’ll take you across the globe to endless horizons.”
According to the cruise line, the Odyssey will spend a month in the Caribbean before embarking on a four-month journey to South America, feature two Panama Canal transits, two “World Wonders,” the Chilean Fjords, an Antarctic sail-by, Carnival in Rio, and an eight-day excursion into the Amazon River.
