CASSELBERRY, Fla. – After five years, Alex’s Fresh Kitchen is shuttering its Casselberry location for good in September, but the business will make a comeback, just not in Florida
The restaurant, located at 1015 State Road 436 in Suite 109, posted to social media on Monday about the closure.
“From the depths of our hearts, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support over the past five years. It is with bittersweet emotions that we announce the closing of Alex’s Fresh Kitchen on September 8, 2024,” the post reads.
The business did not offer a reason for the closure in the post; however, the chef and owner, Alex Diaz, later said he was moving the business to a bigger location in Florence, Arizona.

The post concluded by inviting customers to come back for one last meal before the restaurant shuts its doors.
“We invite you to join us before our closing date to say goodbye and enjoy one last burger. Thank you for being a part of our story,” the post said.
