Last week, Chick N Max announced plans to bring its restaurants into Florida, bringing the chicken sandwich chain to its fourth state.
On Facebook, the chain said that it’s “looking to bring as many as 100 restaurants and 2,500 jobs to the Sunshine State over the next 10 years.”

According to QSR, the expansion is targeting metro areas like Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Tallahassee, St. Petersburg, Orlando, and West Palm Beach.
The plans come as part of a larger move to expand the chain across the Southeast U.S., giving Chick N Max better access to mid-level markets across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, QSR reports.

“Southeastern markets like those across Florida boast a well-established fast-casual chicken restaurant market, and we’re aiming to establish a strong presence of our own and capture market share,” Chick N Max Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development Jeff Frahm said. “We’re excited about turning the page to this next chapter of our evolution and look forward to bringing our innovative take on chicken to the area.”
Per QSR, the upcoming restaurants will be based on Chick N Max’s new prototype, which features around 2,100-square-foot buildings with options for both indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate 60-80 customers.
In addition, the restaurants are set to include drive-thrus, curbside pickup, and a take-out counter, as well as digital menu boards and GPS-enabled curbside pickup via the chain’s mobile app, QSR says.
“While the focus will lie in establishing free-standing locations, Chick N Max will also actively explore partnerships with colleges, truck stops, gas stations, hospitals, and amusement parks to bring the brand’s unique offerings to a wider audience,” the website reads.
Chick N Max was founded in Wichita, Kansas back in 2017, offering a menu focused on chicken-based products like sandwiches, tenders, and smoked chicken.
So far, Chick N Max has grown to seven locations across Texas, South Dakota, and Kansas, with another on the way in Fulshear, Texas.
