Plate Above Catering now offering monthly pop-up café in Central Florida. Here’s how to give it a try

Café only accepts preorders

ORLANDO, Fla.Plate Above Catering, which helps to fund Second Harvest Food Bank, is now offering a pop-up lunch café once a month.

The program, which started in September, is only available for preorders, according to a news release, which can be made here.

For $10, customers can choose from three entrees with two pre-set sides.

For October, the menu includes chicken marsala, bourbon and honey glazed pork chops or a stuffed portabella cap, all served with grilled asparagus and rice pilaf. Preorders must be in by Oct. 10 with pick-up on Oct. 15 at 411 Mercy Drive in Orlando.

According to Plate Above, a portion of the proceeds go to support Second Harvest’s Culinary Training Program.
