Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is known for its sandwiches that are served on an Amoroso roll and topped with chopped steak, three types of cheeses, onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
It also serves egg rolls, fries, and the Philly classic rainbow-flavored ‘water ice.’
The restaurant was launched by Derrick Hayes in 2016, the West Philadelphia native opened the first Big Dave’s in 2016 in Georgia, per the company’s website. There are currently four other locations across Georgia and one in North Carolina.
“As someone who truly loves cheesesteaks, the instant I tasted a Big Dave’s Cheesesteak along with their egg rolls, I knew I wanted to be part of this. It was that remarkable,” Lewis said in a prepared statement.
