Sprouts Farmers Market has announced plans to expand its reach in Florida by opening up over seven new stores in the state.
In a release, company officials explained that the expansion is expected to bring more than 650 jobs to Florida, including clerk-level roles, specialty positions, and upper management roles.

According to the release, the first of the chain’s new stores opened on Friday in St. Johns, though other upcoming stores are slated to open as follows:

While the Melbourne location will be Central Florida’s latest Sprouts store when it opens next month, it’s not the only one on the docket.
According to Lake and Sumter Style, the grocery chain is also set to open its first Lake County store in Clermont.
The website states that Sprouts will bring a 23,000-square-foot store to the Shoppes at Hammock Ridge off US-27, though no opening date has been shared for that location at this time.
So far, Sprouts has 48 stores available in the Sunshine State — eight of which are spread across Central Florida alone. The Central Florida locations thus far are as follows:

Sprouts bills itself as a “unique grocery model” that offers healthier products than many other competitors, including foods that meet special diets like plant-based, gluten-free, keto-friendly and grass-fed.
