TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A 40-year-old man identified by Titusville detectives as a person of interest in a double homicide this past weekend was arrested overnight on unrelated charges.
Larry Augusta Lee, of Titusville, was booked into the Brevard County Detention Center on charges of fleeing and attempting to elude and driving with a suspended license, a day after he was named as a potential witness in the homicides of Anquanette Skanes, 23, and Lapriet Jordan, 35. Lee has not been charged in connection with the homicides.

Skanes and Jordan were found dead Sunday morning in an apartment at the River Breeze Apartment complex at 132 Court St.
Police went door to door questioning neighbors, met with family members of the victims and reviewed several possible motives along with the hours leading up to the slayings. Within hours, police announced that they were searching for Lee, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported.
Lee, 40, is the father of Skanes? children, police and family members said.
Police expected to learn more about what happened to the pair from autopsy results. One of the victims suffered gunshot wounds while police would not comment on the cause of the other death.
Lee was being held on a $25,000 bond but was also ordered to remain at the facility on a parole violation, officials reported.
Lee was released from state prison in December after serving a sentence for a 2006 conviction for resisting arrest and driving without a license. In the past decade, Lee also has been arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, forgery and several drug-related charges
