ORLANDO, Fla. – Local sports stars are helping inspire survivors of the Pulse nightclub attack.
World Series champion and Orlando native Johnny Damon, Orlando City's Ricardo Kaka, and former Orlando Magic superstar Shaquille O'Neal were among special guests Monday at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The athletes visited with victims of the attack who are still recovering.
The three also handed out "OrlandoOrlando Strong Governor's Medals of Unity."
Florida Gov. Rick Scott also stopped by for a group photo around Angel Colon, who was pulled from the attack by Eatonville Officer Omar Delgado.
