ORLANDO, Fla. – Family and close friends of 14-year-old Antony Lorenzo Reid spent Easter Sunday grieving.
Investigators said the teen was shot and killed Saturday outside his home on JR Street near Star Bright Drive.
Detectives have not released a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made.
Neighbors said they heard at least one gunshot.
“The loss of a 14-year-old child, that’s a shame,” Ricardo McMillian said. “And pray for an arrest.”
Officials said Antony was a student at Memorial Middle School, where grief counselors will be on hand Monday to assist as needed.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
