Best Buy recalls air fryers (CNN Newsource)

Best Buy has recalled about 635,000 Insignia brand air fryers and air fryer ovens because the units can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard. Best Buy has received 68 reports in the U.S. and 36 reports in Canada of the air fryer or oven catching fire, burning, or melting. Seven of these cases caused property damage, and two resulted in injuries, including an injury to a child’s leg, according to the release from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
