According to the post, officers arrived after a woman spotted Roach walking with what seemed to be two large poles.

When officers made contact with Roach, they determined the poles were part of a large piece of artwork that was recently taken from a Stuart business. Photos show the artwork was a large red stick figure with a happy face.

“Joshua Roach, who has a history of thefts and burglaries, admitted to taking the piece of art from behind a local business because he liked it,” officers stated. “Mr. Roach also had a warrant from Ohio, but it was nonextraditable.”
