HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A kangaroo went wild in a Tampa apartment complex on Thursday morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
In a news release, deputies said they responded to the complex — near Fowler Avenue and 56th Street — after receiving calls about the escaped animal.
Video shared by the sheriff’s office shows “a loose kangaroo” had gotten trapped in the complex’s pool area.

However, the release shows that deputies were able to catch the beast and reunite it with its owner.
