HIGHLANDS COUNTY, Fla.UPDATE: Kansi Edwards, a 7-month-old boy reported missing Thursday out of Sebring, is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

ORIGINAL STORY: A 7-month-old boy missing out of Sebring and considered endangered may be in the company of a woman, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Kansi Edwards was reported missing Thursday, last seen in the area of the 2800 block of State Road 17 North in Sebring, an FDLE flyer states.

Edwards is 1 foot, 6 inches tall and 20 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green onesie, according to the flyer.

Edwards may be in the company of Alexis Thomas, 22, who was last seen wearing a tan shirt and shorts of an unknown color. Thomas was described as 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has various tattoos of symbols on the fingers of her left hand, authorities said.

Anyone who sees either of them or has knowledge of their whereabouts is urged to contact FDLE or the Sebring Police Department at 863-402-7235 or 911.
