Amber Alert canceled for baby girl missing out of St. Augustine

St. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla.UPDATE — An Amber Alert issued Sunday for a 6-month-old girl missing out of St. Augustine has been canceled after it was determined the baby is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Zania Ward was last seen in the area of the 5000 block of State Road 13 North wearing a white ruffled onesie with pink flowers and green stems, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Ward is 2 feet tall and 14 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, an FDLE flyer states.

The baby may be in the company of 22-year-old Mohammed Adam, described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, according to the flyer.

The two may be in Jacksonville, traveling in a silver 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier bearing Florida tag No. RXCR47, authorities said.

Anyone who locates Adam is urged to not approach him and to contact law enforcement immediately.
