The school’s principal sent a message to parents notifying them about the police activity across the street from the school, saying the incident was monitored by school administrators. The message said all students and staff were safe, and the school was never placed on lockdown.

Yarbrough is being held at the Orange County jail on $2,650 bond, and is facing charges of possessing a weapon on school property and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
