ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orlando girl who received a life-saving transplant has graduated preschool.

Chloe Bella Carvalho was participating in online classes at The Morgan Center. This learning center is a non-profit organization that gives preschool aged kids who are battling cancer an opportunity to learn and communicate with other children in a safe environment.
Chloe received a life-saving blood stem cell transplant in December last year after finding a miracle donor. The transplant helped her body recover from the high-dose chemotherapy needed to treat her juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia, also known as JMML.
Chloe has been doing well since receiving the transplant. She enjoys dancing and riding her bike outside when she’s not learning at The Morgan Center.
She was all smiles, as she wore her cap and gown during her online graduation ceremony.
“Thank you, I love you all,” Chloe told her instructors during the special ceremony.
Chloe’s mother, Nayara Hermes said she had a bone marrow biopsy last week and she is still in remission.
She goes to chemotherapy five days a month.
Hermes told News 6, that Chloe is truly a miracle.
