Several SunRail trains were delayed or canceled Monday morning after a man was hit and killed in Altamonte Springs and, in an unrelated incident, a crossing gate was damaged in Orlando, according to the commuter rail.
Altamonte Springs police said Dustin Lashley, 20, was hit and killed on the tracks near Ballard Street and Ronald Reagon Boulevard around 6 a.m. The incident is under investigation.

The second unrelated incident happened near Grant Street in Orlando where it appears a grossing gate was damaged by a car and when a northbound train went through the crossing the train sustained minor damages, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Southbound train P302, P303, P308 and P311 are canceled. Southbound P305 and P307 are delayed.
Train P305 was delayed due to police activity near the tracks.
