Dog rescued from Oviedo house fire

2-alarm fire reported on Westminster Terrace

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to a house fire in unincorporated Oviedo Monday afternoon.

The two-alarm fire on Westminster Terrace was reported around 1 p.m. and was extinguished before 3 p.m.

Both Seminole County and the Oviedo Fire Department responded.

One dog was rescued from the home. No humans were inside.

More than 30 units responded, including 59 personnel, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

SCFD investigators were on scene Monday afternoon.
