The school district said it evacuated all students and staff to a designated safety zone as law enforcement responded to the threat.

Law enforcement gave the school “the all-clear” about an hour after school officials first tweeted about the threat.

This comes as Cocoa High School closed briefly Friday morning after receiving a threat from a student’s parent. Details of what prompted the closure has not been released.

This is a developing story and will be updated with more information as we receive it.
