ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Two SunRail trains in Altamonte Springs were experiencing delays Wednesday evening as police investigated a report about a suspicious package, the department said.
The services to Maitland and Longwood resumed about an hour after the P336 NB and P337 SB trains experienced the delays around 7:15 p.m., an updated tweet read.

According to the Altamonte Springs Police Department, officers received a call about a suspicious package near the city’s SunRail station around 6:30 p.m. Officers said they investigated and found no threat.
Trains P336 NB and P337 SB are delayed 20 mins for police assistance at the Altamonte Springs station. Expect further delays. We will continue to provide updates.

Both SunRail and Lynx transportation services resumed normal business functions later Wednesday night, police said.
