ORLANDO, Fla. – Several flights flying into Orlando International Airport were canceled or delayed Thursday evening due to Florida storms, according to Southwest Airlines.
“Our operations in Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami all are affected by delays and diversions created by all of the storms in the airspace over Florida,” a Southwest spokesperson said in an email.

This comes as News 6 chief meteorologist Tom Sorrells reported strong storms rocking Flagler County earlier Thursday night, with more rain expected across Central Florida.
Spirit, Frontier and American Airlines flights also experienced multiple cancellations, according to OIA’s official website.
