ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was arrested Tuesday after her husband was fatally shot during a dispute, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The fatal shooting was reported at 2:49 a.m. at a trailer business on Clarcona Ocoee Road and Edgewater Drive, north of Orlando.

According to the sheriff’s office, William Paredes, 44, was shot during the domestic dispute. He was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.

Paredes’ wife, Gladis Bran De Gil, 42, was arrested on a warrant for first-degree murder, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies said the woman was at the scene when deputies arrived, and detectives were able to establish probable cause after interviewing her.

De Gil was booked into the Orange County jail.

No other details have been released.
