The Wheel, the park’s signature attraction, is lit in rainbow colors each year in honor of those who were killed and injured in the shooting at the gay nightclub on June 12, 2016. The ride will be lit starting Wednesday in honor of Pulse Remembrance Week.

The onePulse Foundation, a nonprofit organization created by Pulse’s owner, was established to create a sanctuary of hope after the shooting that took 49 lives and injured 68 others. The fund supports a memorial, a museum, educational programs and legacy scholarships.

The Pulse shooting is the second deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

Each guest who rides The Wheel will also be offered an Orlando Strong hat and ICON Park is offering a free commemorative photo from Magic Memories.
