Flooding is a problem in many parts of Central Florida, and some sandbag locations have reopened for residents trying to fortify their homes.
We’ll post new sandbag locations as we get them.
SEMINOLE COUNTY
Seminole County is reopening three sandbag locations Saturday at 8 a.m. Residents should expect to bring their own shovels.
Altamonte Springs
- Westmonte Recreation Center — 624 Bills Lane off Spring Oaks Boulevard.
Geneva
- Old Geneva Volunteer Fire Station — 217 Second Street
Sanford
- Lake Monroe Wayside Park — 4170 Highway 17
The City of Oviedo also has a sandbag location open Friday until 4 p.m.
- Oviedo Public Works Maintenance Yard — 1725 Evans Street
