ORANGE COUNTY, Fla – An arrest was made in the shooting death of 28-year-old man‚ according to the sheriff’s office.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that Lamar Alberto Mitchell III, 18, was arrested at the Orange County Courthouse while he was attending a plea hearing for his arrest in May on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and carrying a concealed firearm.

Deputies said the shooting happened on Oct. 3 at about 2:25 p.m. near the 6900 block of Silver Star Road. The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Louvens Joseph, 28.

Before the arrest, Crimeline was offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information.
