EUSTIS, Fla. – A $10,000 reward is being offered after a man died following a shooting at a Eustis home Monday evening, police Chief Craig Capri said at a news briefing.
Officers said they responded to a home on Palm Avenue around 8:20 p.m. and found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds.

The man, identified as Wseni Laguerre, 39, was taken to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries, according to police.
Laguerre was shot three times at close range before the shooter fled the scene, Police Chief Craig Capri said at a news briefing on Tuesday.
“This is a cold, calculated murder by a coward that walked up to an unarmed person and shot him in front of his residence where his family was inside,” he said. “I don’t care who you are or what you’ve done. Nobody deserves to be shot and killed.”
Capri described the suspected shooter as a tall, thin man wearing all-black clothing and a hoodie.
Officers said an initial investigation found there was some kind of confrontation between Laguerre and the suspected shooter, but no arrests have been made yet.
Capri also said the shooting is considered an isolated incident.
“I wanted to let the community know more importantly, that this was not a random attack. This was a targeted attack,” said Capri, adding this was the first homicide the city has seen in about four years. “The community is very safe.”
