TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A man who was injured in a two-vehicle crash in January died on Sunday, Feb. 5, according to Titusville police.

Deputies say the crash occurred on Friday, Jan. 27 at 1:45 p.m., near an intersection between South Park Avenue and Main Street.

Joseph Maurice Leo Rivard, 89, was driving westbound on Main Street before failing to stop at an intersection. Rivard, driving an SUV, was then hit by a semi-truck that was traveling northbound on South Park Avenue.

Rivard was removed from his vehicle and transported to a hospital in critical condition. He later died due to injuries he sustained in the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

An investigation remains ongoing.
