ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 38-year-old man was fatally shot Monday afternoon at an Orange County apartment complex, according to sheriff’s officials.
In a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies said they were called to the Sun Bay Apartments around 3 p.m. after receiving reports about a shooting.

Deputies found a man in his 30s who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, deputies said.
The man was identified Wednesday by sheriff’s officials as Jeremy Carl Viering.
“The suspect remained on scene and is cooperating with detectives,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
No arrests have been made.
