MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A 34-year-old man was shot to death Thursday in Marion County, deputies said.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to 6500 S.E. 41st Court in Ocala around 5:30 p.m. following reports of a “suspicious incident.”

First responders found Quentin Samuel dead at the scene, deputies said.

Deputies said that Samuel’s death sparked a homicide investigation, and a person of interest was later taken into custody.
