NFL Pro Bowl returning to Orlando’s Camping World Stadium

Pro Bowl was last in Orlando in 2020

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County leaders and representatives from the National Football League announced the return of the NFL Pro Bowl to Camping World Stadium on Tuesday morning.

The Pro Bowl will take place Feb. 4, 2024, and feature NFL legends and brothers Peyton and Eli Manning as coaches and captains of their teams. The game will be the culmination of a week of events around the city starting in January.

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer said the announcement underlined the value of Camping World Stadium, as they justify continuing to spend Tourist Development Tax dollars on the stadium and other venues.

“For the first four years of Pro Bowls in Orlando, (they) drove significant economic impact estimated at $45 million with 39,000 room nights,” Demings said. “That translates quite frankly into a benefit for all of our residents because all of those individuals who work in the tourism industry benefit when people come and stay in our hotel rooms.”

NFL Vice President of Event Strategy Matthew Shapiro said Orlando is a great partner for the league.

“It’s just such a great destination for all of our best players, when 88 of our best players come together with their families at the end of the season. There’s very few places that would be more desirable than Orlando. It’s a number of factors but those really lead the way,” Shapiro said.
