Report: Rapper 2 Chainz rushed to Miami hospital after overnight crash on I-95

He had left Booby Trap strip club before crash, TMZ reports

Entertainment news website TMZ reports that Rapper 2 Chainz was rushed to a Miami hospital following a crash on Interstate 95 overnight Saturday, according to News 6 partner WPLG.

The outlet reports that the 46-year-old, whose real name is Tauheed K. Epps, was in town for Art Basel and had left the Booby Trap strip club just before the crash.

Epps posted a video on his Instagram story showing himself being loaded into an ambulance by Miami Fire Rescue.

TMZ, citing local sources, reports that the rapper was exiting the freeway when another driver, possibly under the influence, rear-ended him.

The outlet reports that the Grammy-winning artist suffered neck injuries “and possibly other injuries as well,” but was stable.
