BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – If you’re going anywhere near Port Canaveral on Friday, get ready for a whole lot of company.

Six cruise ships are in port, including Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas and massive Allure of the Seas, the Carnival Liberty and Carnival Vista, the Disney Wish and MSC Seashore. All are scheduled to depart at varying times throughout the afternoon and evening.

That’s not where the buck stops, however. Five or more ships are expected on at least six different days in the next couple of weeks.

The Port has also recently warned that construction areas around cruise terminals could cause traffic delays, reminding guests that all terminal parking garages and surface lots do not open before 10 a.m.

Port officials are urging anyone taking a cruise to ensure they arrive at their assigned boarding time.
