They call it a swag bag, but it’s more like a swag suitcase.
Many people know the presenters and performers at the Grammys get a bag full of cool merchandise, but it’s not a gift bag like you may see at a party.
It’s more like a humungous piece of luggage you would pack for a trip abroad.
Lash Fary is the owner of Distinctive Assets and has been providing the official swag bags for the Grammy Awards presenters and performers for decades.
He said celebrities can get their items in one of two ways. They can either come to the Grammy Gift Lounge and pick out items during rehearsals or have the swag delivered to their house.

If it’s delivered, Fary said it comes in a huge roller duffle bag, and that’s not all. He said there is a secondary bag to help transport some of the bulkier items too.
Those items include toys, tech, luxury skincare items and some tasty snacks as well.
Some of the tech is designed to take mundane tasks to the next level.
For example, Grammy Awards presenters and performers will be given the Aiper Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner that can be controlled by an app on your phone.
Pet lovers may enjoy the oneisall Pet Grooming Vacuum Blow Dryer.
Celebrities will also get their hands on a vegan leather jacket, shoes, a skincare set from Miage Skincare, jewelry and unique food items like protein popcorn.
Fary said companies pay his company to get these products in front of celebrities and provide the products for the swag bags.
He calls it a win for the businesses, the Grammy Awards and the celebrities because the companies get exposure, the show gets the gifts given on their behalf, and the artists get to try something new that they may not be familiar with.
This includes minority companies like Pardon My Fro which offers haircare products and cosmetics bags.
Fary said the goodies come in handy when celebrities forget some of their necessities.
“There have been years where Alicia Keys showed up at the Grammy’s, she lost her sunglasses on the plane. She was like, ‘Where’s the gift lounge? I know they always have glasses,’ he said”
Meanwhile, he said others share their swag with loved ones.
“For a lot of the gentlemen, it’s a way for them to knock it all out. Dan and Shay had come through a few years ago and one of them took me aside afterward and was like, ‘Dude, I don’t have to do any Valentine’s Day shopping,” Fary said.
Fary said this year marks 25 years of curating the swag bags for the Grammy presenters and performers and through all of those years one of his favorite celebrity encounters was with a boyband member who got his start right here in Central Florida.
“One of your Orlando natives is one of my all-time faves, Joey Fatone. He came to one of our very first ever Grammy’s, to this day he is my little celebrity crush. He is just so fabulous and amazing in every possible way,” Fary said.
