Tommy Bahama opens first restaurant in the Orlando area: Here’s what it serves

This is the tenth location to open in Florida

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar opened its first Orlando-area location on Thursday.

It is in the Winter Park Village shopping center located at 438 N. Orlando Ave., next to the brand’s store, dubbing itself as a “Tommy Bahama Island.

The menu features many items such as tacos, quesadillas, sliders, flatbreads and salads.

Keeping with the classic beach and Florida vibe the brand is known for, this eatery also features Key Lime pie, pina colada cake and cocktails such as mai tais and the classic mojito.

Tommy Bahama had its start in the Sunshine State, roughly 30 years ago. A couple of friends didn’t want their vacation to end off the Gulf Coast and this dream of a “forever” vacation created the iconic brand. It then spun off to retail, restaurants and even resorts.

The first Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar opened in Naples back in 1996, now this new restaurant marks its tenth in Florida. There are 23 locations across the country, each featuring a store too, according to the brand’s website.

The Winter Park restaurant will also feature live music and offers happy hour daily from 3-6 p.m.
